  • Can I still park in the World of Wonder Garage?
    Yes, the World of Wonder Garage will remain open throughout this phase of construction. Please refer to the Skywalk Access Map for alternative pedestrian routes to Circle Centre Mall. Access to the Indianapolis Convention Center, Indianapolis Artsgarden, and nearby hotels via skywalk will remain available.
  • Can I still park under Circle Centre Mall?
    Yes, the Red Garage at the north end of Circle Centre Mall will remain open, with entrances from both Washington and Maryland Streets. For alternative pedestrian access to the Indianapolis Convention Center, refer to the Skywalk Access Map. The Blue Garage at the south end of the mall will remain open until construction begins, with elevator and escalator access available at Georgia Street.
  • Can I still access the Circle Centre Mall Food Court from the Indianapolis Convention Center?
    Yes! Direct skywalk access to the food court will remain open. Please check the Skywalk Access Map for route details.
  • What areas will be affected by the current phase of construction?
    Starting April 1, 2025, the south block of Circle Centre Mall—bordered by Illinois and Meridian Streets and Maryland and Georgia Streets—will close to prepare for construction. This includes the closure of the skywalk connecting the Omni Severin Hotel to the mall. The mall’s main concourse, food court, and access to the World of Wonders parking garage will remain open, ensuring continued retail and dining operations.

The project will reposition the property as a dynamic, mixed-use, open-air destination, reinforcing downtown Indianapolis as a hub for commerce, living, and entertainment.

Plans for revamping Circle Centre Mall include creating a north-south "Main Street" pedestrian thoroughfare in place of the mall's central hallway.

Hendricks Commercial Properties has spent more than $550 million to acquire and redevelop properties across Indianapolis and Carmel since 2013. But with a major redevelopment of Circle Centre Mall on the horizon, the Beloit, Wisconsin-based firm’s leaders say they’re just getting started with work they hope to do in central Indiana.

Circle Centre Development Company, a partnership of 17 business and corporate investors, announced in a news release that Hendricks Commercial Properties has acquired the longtime downtown Indy mall.
